Suitability Support Kit from Jackson®

Why suitability?

As a financial professional using products like annuities, it’s your responsibility to gather complete client information, compare products, identify issues or conflicts of interest, and explain your recommendations to the client and your firm.

The good news is that you’re already doing most of this work up front.

But today, many financial institutions like yours are required to document product suitability in compliance with regulations, such as SEC Regulation Best Interest, the Department of Labor’s (DOL) fiduciary rules and proposals and National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) model regulation on suitability.

This documentation process can take time, completing forms and responding to questionnaires about your clients’ best interests.

By meeting these increasingly stringent suitability standards, you can help protect your business, yourself and fellow team members and, most importantly, your clients.

We're here to help

Use the items in this kit to better understand the suitability process and better align the products you select with your clients’ unique needs. We hope you benefit from a more streamlined and user-friendly transaction and more satisfied clients as a result.
